Tony
Regarding the camping area. This would be a managed facility for around 10 tents which will be provided by the holiday park owners. It would not be a case of campers turning
up and pitching their own tents. The tents will provide basic sleeping cover only and campers will have access to the communal BBQ area and swimming pool. Parking wise the cars would simply park up alongside the tents.
Please find attached drawing 008 which for some reason was missed off the planning portal submission.
Additionally, in response to a request from a neighbouring property, the location of the communal refuse store has been moved as set out attached. This is closer to the site access so should be more convenient for collection services.
If you require any further information, please let me know.
Julian I have copied you in for the sake of good order but would be grateful if you would treat the revised plans as an amendment to the application. Perhaps we can discuss progress shortly.

Edward

Subject: 16/0534/SH - Rugby club campsite, St Mary's Bay: Additional information.
Dear Mr Ledwidge,
Im currently looking at the above application for comments to Shepway District Council on behalf of Kent County Council as the Highway Authority.
The provision of parking spaces is sufficient for the proposed cabin accommodation, staff, etc, however the Design and Access statement explains that an area of the site will be available for general camping. Could you please ask your client
for confirmation regarding where parking associated with the camping will be located? i.e. will it be permitted on the grassed area adjacent to tents?
The Proposed Site Plan shows that another drawing, P008, should be available with details of the parking and access alterations. The planning authority does not have this, could you please provide this to enable me to assess these aspects
of the submission?
Kind regards
Tony Jenson
