In Malcolm’s absence, we have spoken to our client and can confirm the following:
- The hydro pool will drain into the public sewer. Surface water disposal will be by soakaways on site.
- We will arrange for the removal of the equine riding arena.
- Our client has opted for brick paving in lieu of the tarmac.

I would be grateful for confirmation on the following matters.
- Please confirm the drainage on the site. I note a hydro pool is proposed which will need to be drained from time to time, so please confirm connection to the public sewer. Also please
confirm the surface water drainage disposal.
- I note that an equine riding arena is within the site. Unless this is going to be used by your client, please can this be removed and the area landscaped as it is unnecessary built
development within the countryside and AONB. Please confirm your client is happy for this to be removed and I can condition this.
- I note a poor surface material is proposed for the access being tarmac. I would like a better material that would be more in keeping with the rural environment and AONB being bonded
gravel or brick paving . Please can you confirm this.
